  • About
Rice is the staple grain of the whole of Asia, which is well over half the world’s population. In Japan, evidence of its production dates as far back as the 2nd century BC. It is not exaggerating to say that rice is at the heart of all Japanese cuisine. Not surprisingly, there are a number of utensils specifically designed for the cooking and use of rice.
