Sandwiches made with crusty rolls and French sticks are extra special. Split almost through and butter generously. Fill a french stick, then slice crossways for serving. Try some of these fillings:
- Slices of ham, crisp lettuce, slices of tomato and thin slivers of Camem-bert cheese.
- Slices of rare roast beef, crisp lettuce and thinly cut onion rings.
- Slices of salami, slices of tomatoes, lettuce leaves and spring onions.
- Thin slice of Brie – try the blue and the herb-flavoured varieties – with crisp lettuce and thinly sliced cucumber.
- Slices of cold chicken with crisp fried bacon rashers, lettuce and tomato.
