  • About
Out of the summer months when fewer homegrown fruit are available, chocolate and nuts take on an even greater importance in dessert making. If you do love chocolate puddings, it doesn’t mean you have to spend hours icing cakes; you can add a fabulous chocolate or nutty hint to a bought tart or fruit with any of these simple ideas.

Chocolate flakes. Grate a bar of chocolate over the top of a pudding or cake.

White or dark chocolate sauce. Melt any chocolate (white, dark or milk) and just pour over a dessert. For the richest of sauces, melt the chocolate with butter or cream.
