To my incredibly talented mum who taught me how to cook and bake-you are an inspiration to me. Your shortcrust pastry recipe still brings compliments from all who dine upon its short, crumbly and buttery crust.

In memory of my wonderful dad, who was an amazing cook and a loving and supportive father. You are always in my heart and mind, and especially when I am enjoying a bacon or sausage butty.
