I have spent much of my life in farming, mostly on a 120 acre mixed farm with pigs and sheep, and a period of share farming and contracting, including the design and implementation of forestry woodland schemes. I experienced some of the best years one could in farming, but eventually had to concede to economy of scale and lack of cash to invest.
