Many newspapers run clubs or special offers, often of pre-selected inexpensive wines at competitive rates.

Few of them offer wines of exceptional quality, as the attractiveness of the offers is based on price. Some local retailers also operate clubs, which offer discounts, tastings and special offers to members. Tasting circles and local wine clubs may also track down interesting wines offered at attractive prices for their members.
