Organising Your Wine

Even if you have a small wine collection, labelling your bottles and keeping records can make it easier for you to find your wine and maintain your collection. It is also a requirement of most wine insurance policies.

A simple way of seeing at a glance where wines are located in your cellar is to clearly mark the cases, bins or bottles. On cases or bins filled with the same wine, fix a piece of card marked with the wine’s details. You can identify individual bottles in racks using plastic or paper tags that hang over the necks of the bottles.
