When is Wine ready to Drink?

Tasting a wine as it matures is one of the greatest joys of owning a cellar. It is better to drink wine too early than too late, but it is largely a matter of personal taste at what maturity you enjoy a wine. A quality red Bordeaux, for example, is generally enjoyed by typical French drinkers earlier than by traditional British claret lovers.
