  • About
If your wine has small white crystals in the bottom of the glass or bottle, they are not pieces of glass, but tartaric crystals. These result from the precipitation of tartaric acid contained in wine and are perfectly harmless. You can decant the wine to get rid of them, if you like, but if you don’t, the wine wilt still he perfectly drinkable.
