Blind Tasting

Taking a glass of wine with no clues as to what it might be and guessing the grape variety, region and year from the colour, nose and palate alone is a particular skill -it requires a very well-honed taste memory. It is an enjoyable and rewarding skill to learn, however, so why not give it a go? You can blind taste for fun with a group of like-minded friends or you can really test yourself and use it as serious practice for professional blind tasting examinations.
