In the Winery

The basic process for making wine (vinification) has not changed over hundreds of years - grapes are crushed, yeast is added and the mixture is encouraged to ferment, converting the sugar in the grape juice to alcohol. Winemakers work with and adapt this process to make the vast selection of wines that are available to the consumer.
