The best dressing for all and every salad is lemon juice and olive oil. No mustard, no garlic, no nothing. One-third lemon juice, two-thirds olive oil, salt and pepper, and whisk, whisk, whisk into an emulsion or shake it all up in a jar. You’re done.

When Ben and I used to work at a restaurant called LeCoq people often asked “Oh my god, this salad, what IS the dressing?” It was lemon juice and olive oil.

Salad is an integral part of many of the sandwiches at The Sandwich Shop. Nothing adds crunchy freshness like crunchy fresh things.
