It has been ten years since Jason Atherton spent a season with us at El Bulli. During that time, I caught a glimpse of his potential future as a great chef. Since then, I have followed his journey with interest and I’m delighted to see now that our hopes and his aspirations have been reached. Each season we have around fifty cooks at El Bulli and, after so many years, it is impossible to remember them all. But there is always one chef that stands out from the others, and that was the case with Jason.
