Dry Alsatian wines are a good choice: Riesling, Muscat, Pinot Gris. Chenin Blanc from the Loire, either dry (Savennières) or off-dry (Vouvray), also work. Off-dry rosés, like Rosé d’Anjou, offer another choice.
