Rich and textured aromatic white wines: Rhône whites (Condrieu, white Hermitage), Alsatian Pinot Gris, California and Australian Chardonnays. Delicate and scented reds of soft tannin are also good: Pinot Noirs from most anywhere that stress the fruit: Volnay, Monthélie, California and Oregon Pinot Noir.
