  • About
I would love to be able to tell you all how I am this amazing gardening and domestic goddess who grows all my own fruit and veg. At the moment this is a dream for the future: I am often out the door before the sun comes up and get home again in the dark, meaning my husband is the real domestic god in our home.

Much to my late nana and my mum’s amusement, my gardening involves a patio full of pots with herbs, rocket, salad, berries and edible plants. I get endless stick from my Kiwi family, how ‘That’s not a garden, THIS is a garden’, as they show off their acre gardens which feed them all year round. But I don’t think you have to do back-breaking digging to have a simple selection of tasty herbs, salads and soft fruits. I am a fresh herb addict in all my cooking, but I hate buying fresh herbs from the supermarket and then wasting them because you can’t use them all before they go off in the fridge.
