I don’t know how this dish got the following it has now. It’s totally unbalanced, super sweet and salty and fully over the top. Nevertheless, it remains the top-selling dessert at Ms G’s by far.
This dessert came about because I wanted to create something nobody else had. I was a heavy pot smoker back in high school and I thought about the ridiculous things I’d combine to eat because they seemed like the best idea ever (at the time). This dish originally consisted of doughnut ice cream, peanut butter, Mars Bar slice, passionfruit marshmallow, pretzel praline and raspberry sauce. After months of being obsessed with watching EpicMealTime on YouTube, I added candied bacon, replaced the marshmallow with deep-fried banana fritter, mixed the peanut butter with dulce de leche and switched the pretzels for potato chips. I don’t know what happens when people eat this dish (probably the beginnings of a diabetic coma), but they tend to go a bit crazy.
