The common name for these is Poisonpie. The caps are cream or pale brown, often viscid or slimy, and the stems fibrous, often with a granular surface. Note the smell, which may only be apparent on cutting or bruising. The gills, like those of Inocybe, turn dull fawn-coloured as the pinkish-brown spores mature.
