Boulevard Ornano, 75018 M° Simplon (Line 4) Open: Tuesday, Friday, and Sunday, 8:00 A.M.–1:00 P.M.
At the edge of the 18th arrondissement you will find Marché Ornano, which matches shouts for shoppers as ardent vendors offer exotic and imported fruits and vegetables. Among the exclamations, on the corner of boulevard Ornano and rue du Simplon you’ll find Jean-Michel Delahaye’s vegetable stand. The only outright producteur at the market, Jean-Michel sells vegetables from his farm in Cergy-Pontoise, located twenty-one miles from Paris. Delahaye wasn’t always the only farmer at this market. By his count, as little as ten years ago Marché Ornano hosted many more independent producers from the Île-de-France and other neighboring regions.
