Well, here we are on Rhodes Around Britain III! I would like to think that three books and television series predominantly featuring British dishes (and I’m sure we could do many more!) are proof that the British love good cooking and eating.

When my first book, Rhodes Around Britain, was being produced, the catering industry was only just starting to recognize British cooking. Restaurants and brasseries were featuring some of the old classics all finished with a new twist. I would like to think that now we can hold our heads high amongst chefs, cooks and all other countries as far as food is concerned.
