Don’t be seduced by good looks; some of the most stylish mills aren’t necessarily the best performers. If you take cooking seriously it’s essential to invest in one that’s going to last, and with the growing choice of pepper on the market, it’s important to choose carefully – not all mills can cope with large peppercorns.
