When we opened our shop in 2014, Petee’s swiftly became famous for our sweet pies, and since we stay open until midnight (and later on the weekends), we developed a reputation as a great late-night dessert stop. We also put a few savory pies on the menu, too, and while they stayed out of the limelight, they developed a small cult following. That’s why when we opened the café a few years later, I was excited about the opportunity to expand the menu by adding more delicious savory pies. After all, the café is a larger space than a shop, allowing people to visit throughout the day and linger over coffee, sip natural wine, and have both dinner and dessert.
