  • About

One of the rudest things one can do in Iran is not to offer tea to anyone who enters their home — although on very hot days in summer, you’re allowed to swap the tea for a sharbat (cordial), or sometimes ice cream. But even then the kettle is always on, and tea is served all day long, before meals, after meals and between them.
