These are general decorating ideas for sauces. They can, of course, be combined or changed to suit a particular taste or occasion. The designs shown in a small pool of sauce can be made on the entire surface of the plate instead, and vice versa. Keep in mind that the more complicated the design, the less suitable it is for serving a large number of guests. Even though, in some cases, the sauce can be poured on the plates in advance, piping on the decoration must be done just before the desserts are served or it will start to deteriorate.
