Pears: Baked

Pears bake beautifully because they don’t tend to get soggy the same way moisture-dense berries or melon will. I tend to bake with the firmest fruit I can find to help keep the structure intact. That said, even fairly soft pears tend to hold their shape in the oven, so just use what you have on hand.
