I’ve always thought that I was born to be a restaurateur. One path and one life, simple as that.
It helped that my father was the well-known “Jimmy of Kolonaki”, a chef and restaurateur whose hands prepared food for politicians, celebrities and many other people for decades.
I took my first steps in the business back in the early eighties, when I was just 16 years old, in our family-owned restaurant in Loukianou. Years passed, almost 30 of them, with lots of new restaurants, awards and business ventures, when suddenly fate brought me to London and The Real Greek. It became my passion, and allowed me to follow my Dad’s dreams way before open borders in Europe made this more accessible.
