Recipes For Life: Inspired Cooking Beyond Cancer

  • About
Supplements should be used with caution, as some contain mega-doses of nutrients which can have a detrimental rather than helpful effect, particularly during cancer treatment.
The most prudent diet you can follow is one that is made up of predominately plant based foods e.g. fruits, vegetables, herbs, spices, beans or lentils, nuts, seeds and whole-grains such as rice and oats. Supplement this with plenty of fresh fish, eggs and a small amount of poultry whilst minimising your intake of processed and red meats, refined sugar and salt and you are well on your way to a nutrition-packed healthy diet that will help to lower your risk of disease.
