A programme of care during treatment and beyond...
LOC believes that it is vital to care for every element of the cancer patient’s wellbeing. This is why it offers the Living Well programme.
Living Well is a selection of workshops, lectures and clinics to help support patients through their treatment and to improve their lifestyle once their treatment is complete. It also offers family members a parallel programme of care.
It covers all kinds of issues from providing medical information about treatment side-effects such as fatigue, to helping patients cope with psychological problems such as depression and anxiety. It also helps people to rebuild their lives after treatment finishes, offering expert advice on how to cope with ongoing side-effects. as well as practical ways to make healthy lifestyle changes.
