There are Eight Different Alsatian Varieties:

  • About
  • Sylvaner
  • Riesling
  • Gewürztraminer
  • Pinot Blanc
  • Pinot Gris
  • Muscat
  • Pinot Noir
  • Klevener de Heiligenstein
  • And also Edelzwicker, which is a blend of white varieties

All of these different varieties carry their own specific nuance of flavour and aroma. From a dry and sharp white like the Sylvaner to the exuberant Gewürztraminer, let yourself be seduced by such complexity. Let us not forget either the vendanges tardives (late harvested grapes) gathered at the over-mature stage, and the grain noble selection, involving a successive sorting of noble-rot affected grapes… the quality of the resulting product is literally magic.
