I love party food from the 1970s, and all stuffed foods fall into that category for me. I love stuffing peppers and acorn squash. My favorite stuffable vegetable is tomatoes. The juice from the center mixes well with the filling, making a juicy, savory dinner. They are silly yet extremely practical. You can make them a day or two ahead and reheat them for your party.
