  • About
I have always been a cook, and I have always known I was going to cook. Food is a basic human need and people have to eat–it is a necessary physical process–and the simple act of eating brings people together and is unifying. That is why I believe in what I do.

I worked with Tal when we did the market, back in the day, when the Biscuit Mill had just started. We did it together but Tal had very clear ideas in mind and she was the one leading us. Then we went on holiday to Israel and I remained there, working for two-and-a-half years accumulating experience, while Tal carried on without me in Cape Town.
