  • About
Shortly after my husband and I moved our family to Minnesota over 30 years ago, our church had a fundraising craft fair. In addition to crafts, the kitchen manager offered to make lefse and krumkake for the bake sale as long as someone helped her. I jumped at the chance to learn about these Scandinavian favorites. Although I don’t have a lefse griddle, I did purchase a krumkake iron and for many years have included these delicate cookies in family Christmas celebrations. This was my introduction to Scandinavian baking and centuries-old traditions.
