It’s the busiest time of year for most food businesses and it seems to be all for the same produce: potatoes, carrots, parsnips, sprouts and clementines for those stockings, all in season and tasting great. It’s also the best time of year to get French chestnuts for roasting or, as we’ve discovered, putting into soup.
