  • About
When you are thinking of making a cake, it is usually a butter cake that comes first to mind. It’s almost always butter cake recipes that have been passed down from generation to generation: American classics, such as the 1-2-3-4 Cake and Wellesley Chocolate Cake, as well as untitled splendors, such as yellow cake, gold cake, Bundt cake and pound cake. Butter cakes are what we eat in the afternoon with a cup of tea or after dinner with coffee or serve à la mode with our favorite flavor of ice cream for a special occasion.
