  • About
These cakes are family treasures, passed down from the old folks to the new generation, time and again. They have survived partly because they connect us to the past and partly because they look so pretty and taste so good. Each generation takes care to keep them in the family, but unlike Aunt Estelle’s cameo or the family silver, we also share them easily and often with friends and neighbors, who might just adapt them into a family treasure of their own. Antiques have value not simply because they are old, but because they show us connections and nourish our souls.
