  • About
My tasting notes for Captain’s Reserve
Colour: rich amber with a touch of copper Nose: sweet fruity notes of apricot, apple and pear, vanilla, cinnamon, honey, a hint of liquorice
Taste: bursting with apricot and pear, jaggery, ginger, raisins, roasted nut and oak, a hint of orange (an emphasis on pear, apricot, ginger and vanilla – flavours that leap out at you when you taste Martell Blue Swift, the cognac that matured in the casks that Captain’s Reserve was finished in)
Finish: smooth and silky, lingering and seductive
