  • About
Fruit is beautiful to look at, wonderful to taste, simple to serve and good for you. With modern methods of cold storage and swift refrigeration, fruit from all over the world is now available at any time of year. But despite the choice all year round, seasonal fruit still holds a special charm and attraction.
When choosing fruit, inspect it very carefully. Colours should be bright, even sparkling; the skins taut but the fruit slightly soft to the touch, and a light aromatic smell should be noticeable. Hard fruit which has to ripen further at home should be arranged at room temperature on a dry surface and not touching each other.
