Fill clean bottles with hot sauce and screw on clean tops tightly. Release tops a half-turn and put bottles in a large pan on a rack or thick pad of newspaper. Cover the bottles with hot but not boiling water and bring to 150°F/54°C. Keep the water simmering at this temperature for 30 minutes. Remove bottles, and screw on tops tightly at once.
