Electric blender method

Blend the cream on high speed for 1 minute. Drain off the buttermilk. Put cold water into the blender goblet, and blend with the butter for a few seconds. Drain off the water and squeeze the butter to extract moisture. Salt to taste before patting into shape. For this method, 1 pint/500ml cream is also a practical quantity to use.
