13 Cooking for the Freezer
A home freezer is rather like having another pair of hands in the kitchen or another day in the week; it allows a busy woman to shop when she wants and to cook when she has time. There are many ways in which a deep freeze can be used. Those in the country may use it largely to store surplus garden produce, whereas others in town may use it to store fresh or prepared goods, in order to cut down on endless shopping and cooking. There is nothing to be said in favour of freezing for the sake of freezing, but there is everything to be said for planned freezing that will save valuable time.
