  • About
If you do not have time to make fancy snacks or finger food to accompany drinks, triangles of hot toast spread with spiced anchovy butter are a good standby. About 4 oz / 110 g softened butter blended with a 2 oz / 60 g can of anchovy fillets, a crushed garlic clove, a tablespoon of spicy chutney and a pinch of cayenne pepper will make enough spiced butter to spread on approximately 15โ€“20 average-sized triangles of toast. The butter can be prepared in advance, and kept in the refrigerator until needed.
