  • About
I was born in Port-au-Prince, Haiti in 1979. My mother was a fashion designer and my father, an architect. However, I was not raised solely by my parents: I was raised by a village. My maternal grandparents were self-taught distillers. They owned a distillery that made rum, liquors, and alcohol. The business was always a crash course in our home. My aunts and uncles each had an influence in my upbringing—I watched them lead by example. I am one of seventeen grandkids who are highly successful all over the USA, Canada, and the Caribbean. Growing up in Haiti, I was surrounded by extended family members, grandparents, aunts, and uncles. All of them were business owners.
