We have been incredibly lucky to start our first venture with Optomen Television. They are a splendid combination of folk, full of laughter mixed with resolute professionalism and have treated us like queens. We owe much gratitude and loyalty to Peter Gillbe (PG Tips), our benign, bearded series producer who seems to enjoy the laughter of the ‘ladies’ and was brave enough to back the idea, and to Patricia Llewellyn, our wild Welsh producer and director whose devotion and perfectionism have caused us to face pneumonia and heat stroke alike.
