You will need
  • a good electric stand mixer such as a Kenwood or KitchenAid
  • a food processor
  • bowls, wooden spoons, spatulas, measuring spoons, sieve
  • baking paper, baking tins
  • a kitchen scale
Again, gather all the ingredients around you before baking. Be sure that the eggs and butter are at room temperature. When a recipe calls for creaming, employ your stand mixer properly and allow the mixture to cream thoroughly before adding eggs. Always sift flour after measuring. Think light and airy thoughts.
