A vegan diet is one that excludes animal products, including eggs, dairy, and meat. Although many sweet recipes call for butter, eggs, and milk, most of the time these ingredients can be substituted. I usually recommend sticking to the recipe as written, but sometimes vegan substitutes work flawlessly; other times there are minor taste alterations. You’ll just have to try it and see.
