When you buy a prepared item, read the ingredients on the label. If the list is excessively long and full of additives, look for a simpler, purer version of the same item. Remember that the ingredients appear on the label according to the amount used. Make sure that the first listed ingredients are those you expect and want, not corn syrup or another item lacking in nutritional substance.
