Who doesn’t like pasta and sauce? Sauces offer endless opportunities for creativity. Because it seems we can never make too many pasta-and-sauce dishes at Claire’s, we get to have fun, add healthful ingredients, and keep things interesting. If anyone doesn’t like pasta and sauce, we’d never know it, given that we make sauces every single day. Have for thirty-five-plus years! We like to try different pasta shapes for variety, and our preference is for organic semolina pastas for their quality and flavor, but we also keep gluten-free pastas on hand for our customers who are sensitive to gluten. Many organic rice pastas taste good and if you’re careful to cook them just enough to give that al dente bite, the texture is excellent, too. If you cook for someone who is sensitive to gluten, they’ll be so appreciative if you make them a gluten-free pasta dish. And that feels good for everyone.
