As much as I like to sit down at a well-set table to eat a leisurely meal, modern life doesn’t always allow for that good habit.
Sometimes, you just gotta eat. Here are some grab-and-go snack ideas that balance protein, carbs, and fat so you’re fueled up and ready to go at a moment’s notice.
  • Canned kipper snacks with red and green bell pepper strips
  • Boneless, skinless sardines (packed in olive oil) with cucumber and apple slices
  • Hard-boiled eggs with a dollop of Olive Oil Mayo and red bell pepper strips
  • Smoked salmon wrapped around cucumber spears
  • Cooked chicken spears dipped in guacamole and salsa
  • Cooked, diced chicken with diced cucumber, sliced black olives, extra-virgin olive oil, salt, and pepper
  • Diced cooked shrimp tossed with diced tomato, avocado, and lime juice
  • Cooked chicken piled on half of a baked sweet potato and drizzled with sunflower seed butter
  • Fresh berries drizzled with a few tablespoons of coconut milk
  • Paleo-approved lunch meats (Applegate Farms brand is great!) with raw veggies
  • Sliced roast beef wrapped around pickle spears
  • Tuna salad with Olive Oil Mayo stuffed in a cucumber boat.
  • Egg salad made with Olive Oil Mayo spooned in a half bell pepper.
  • Boneless, skinless sardines wrapped in a nori sheet and dipped in coconut aminos.
  • Smoked salmon slices and avocado rolled in nori sheets
