  • About
For many of us, the kitchen is a cherished room in which the outdoors is brought indoors and transformed into something wonderful. Food can only taste as good as the love invested in it. If good ingredients have been nurtured with care, then from the minute you take them home, like a relay runner, you have been passed the baton to continue that care.
Cook only what you have time to cook well. If you are distracted or in a hurry things will almost certainly suffer. But don’t be put off by recipes that have long cooking times. Providing you have a good internal brain timer, or an orange plastic one, these recipes will allow you to go off and do other things. Slow cooking was invented for this reason. Overall, the recipes in this book are simple, and regardless of the time they take to cook, their preparation is easy.
