The rules for what classifies a product as organic seem to vary a little from country to country. The thing with South Africa is that, here, they are not laws, they are ‘guidelines’. That makes this a fairly tricky topic with a lot of grey areas. I’ve referred as much as possible to South African information sources in my research, but if your home country is not South Africa, I suggest that you spend some time researching standards for where you live.
